Come 8th March – A date with you for better sleep, every night.
Do you know that studies have discovered that people with insufficient sleeping hours have a 73% chance of obesity and are 4 times more likely to suffer from stroke than an average person! Due to stress, lifestyle and other factors, the modern people are likely to encounter problems such as insomnia, light sleep and poor sleep at night. In order to bring about greater awareness on the importance of sleep, the World Association of Sleep Medicine had launched a global campaign, setting a date in March every year as the World Sleep Day.
Deeply aware of the importance of sleep to ensure good health, AMLIFE has been committed to promoting sleep health for years, and has organized more than 200 World Sleep Day activities around the world to date. For this year’s World Sleep Day, the theme of AMLIFE is “Better Sleep, Better Life, Better Planet”. Organized jointly with the World Sleep Society, the “World Sleep Day” will be held in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, featuring talks by international sleep experts to share and host a series of exciting activities.

Unlimited potential
How important is a good night’s sleep to a person? Adequate sleep allows us to work, study and live more efficiently and mentally more active the next day, beside offering many other benefits. If for some time you feel mentally weak and very stressed, it could also be caused by a lack of sleep.
There are numerous business opportunities arising from human needs such as clothing, food, shelter and travel. People spend about a third of their life sleeping every day, but this “treasure trove” has yet to be fully discovered in the market. The problems related to sleep have brought about further development of the health industry and created a market of immense potential.
Jointly developed via clinical medicine, material science, biomedical engineering and other technologies, the sleep health products have integrated with sleep medical science, smart technology and healthcare lifestyle, which not only help people to “sleep well”, but also bring about various business opportunities waiting to be exploited!
